高得点TOEICブロガーの方々のブログを参考にして、今回の159回の採点をしてみましたが、思っている以上に得点できているのかも知れません。ちなみに参考にしたブログは以下です。ありがとうございます。

今回の159回を受けてまた来年の今頃に再受験と思っていたのですが、Part3・4で気が遠くなるように熱が上がってしまい、ぼーっとしながら受験したので、160回も再度受けようと思います。
でもまあ、気休めなんですけどね。実力ないのに再度6000円近いお金を支払うわけで、もったいないと思う気持ちもどこかにあるんですが、とりあえず900台は取りたいという淡い気持ちもありまして。。。
普段から英語勉強していれば、スコアにも反映するんだろうけど、何しろ怠け者故になかなか900台まで上がらない。なので、今回はちょっとがんばってみようかな。。。病気がきっかけでもっとがんばらないという気持ちが芽生えたのは事実です。
それと今日、「ETS英語リーディング能力リサーチ参加者募集のお知らせ」という題名で個人メールが届きました。リーディングテスト７５分を１回分受けて、アンケートに１５分答えるというもの。９０分間掛かるリサーチです。謝礼3000円なので、受けてみました。次回TOEIC試験が3000円引きになるなら、もっとやる気になるのですが、少しお金を取り戻そう感覚です。卑しいな。。。私。

What does a Lexile measure mean?
The Lexile measure of a reader describes his or her English reading ability. Materials at the right level for most readers range from 100L below the reader’s Lexile measure to 50L above it. +Thus, the right level for a 1000L reader is generally 900L to 1050L.+The Lexile measure of a text describes the level of complexity. Books are measured by professionals using software that evaluates the difficulty of the language to calculate a Lexile measure. Thousands of books written in English have Lexile measures, and more titles are being added to the Lexile library every day.
Through research, Lexile measures help illustrate the typical English reading demands of real-world settings. This can help readers set long-term goals for their English reading proficiency, and monitor progress toward college and career readiness.
Your Lexile measure helps you understand your ability in comparison to real world contexts. Studies have found materials in the US workplace to typically range from 1120L to 1360 L. Online worldwide newspapers typically range from 1315L to 1385L.
1340Lは、職場などでの書類で使われる英語では割と高めのスコア。
ネットなどの記事がちょうどこの辺のスコアのようです。
つまりとりあえず、そのレベルにいるという程度のようです。
Lは20０～1700まであるようなことが書かれていました。普段読んでいるのはネットの英語だし、仕事で使われている英語も割と平易な表現が多いので、今の英語の接し方なので、このスコアだと思います。いろいろな書物を読んだり、もっと難しい内容のものに接していればもっとスコアは伸びるのでしょうけど、今のところもっと難しいものまで読めるようになりたいという気持ちがなくて。。。だめですね。
でも結局、１月もまた受けるし、TOEICに掛けたお金は総額いくらになるんだろうか。。。怖い。でもスタバに掛けたお金は桁違いだ・・・
